Summer Time : Good Time

August 2016, in Kenya, England, France it's time for holidays....

But EDU'KENYA is not resting. Justice au Coeur from Lycée Français Charles DeGaule in London England is sending a note and supporting the association: thank you

South of France, the English community is sharing english books thank you, in Kenya Fred & Esther are looking after the van to be ready thank you and in Paris France the volunteers from EDU'KENYA are following the team in Busia, sending the money, making budget for next monthes's tour, thank you.

So enjoyable activity

After reading Tintin, pupils drawn their own comics : "Thank you so much for contributing highly to the creativity of the pupils, it was quite enjoyable to them", says Robert their teacher from Joy Valley special school. Hungerra, bravo, congratulation!!

If you have a library in your school

 Pupils draw their library, the carpet, the van of EDU'KENYA, the librarian and themselves.

It's how it works!!!

Last trip to Busia : full time

2 weeks around the 13 schools with the van and EDU'KENYA's team to meet every body. Last effects of spreeding out the culture of reading : teachers are telling stories, headteachers and teachers are oppening their school library, the teams are thinking together and were trained about the advantages of library and of course pupils, red, blue, brown are falling into story and books!!!!Deux semaines avec l'équipe et le van entre  les 13 écoles du Comté de  Busia avec au bout du compte cet essaimage de la culture livresque avec des professeurs et directeurs impliqués, des conteurs et des enfants petits et grands qui continuent à plonger dans les histoires, les albums et les livres.

GOOD & VERY FRIENDLY VISIT TO LONDON! Thank you, it's very helpuff!

First, the pupils listen to the president of EDU'KENYA to understand the goals and the result of 3 years of partnership between the association and Justice au Coeur, Charity Lycée Charles De Gaulle. The pupils asked a few questions about education in Kenya.

Second, some pupils brought 2 boxes of books they had been collected the last monthes for EDU'KENYA = 130 books

Third,  the teenagers show they give each a book to EDU'KENYA's  mobile library for the Kenyan's pupils.

Fourth the teacher Mrs Alexis from Justice au Coeur gave a check to EDU'KENYA to help the van turning around school after school, in Busia county.
